Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance

By using here.now you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What here.now does

here.now is a static file hosting service. You upload files through the API and we serve them on a unique subdomain. We do not run server-side code, databases, or compute on your behalf.

3. Accounts and anonymous publishing

You can publish without an account. Anonymous sites are temporary and expire after 24 hours unless claimed. Accounts are created via magic link email verification. Each account receives one API key.

4. Your content

You own everything you publish. We do not claim any rights to your content. We store and serve your files solely to provide the hosting service.

5. Prohibited content

You may not publish:

  • Illegal content under applicable law
  • Malware, phishing pages, or deceptive software
  • Spam or bulk-generated pages intended to manipulate search engines
  • Content that exploits or endangers minors
  • Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. Availability and limits

We aim to keep here.now available but do not guarantee uptime. We may impose or adjust rate limits, file size limits, and storage limits at any time. Anonymous sites are subject to automatic expiration and garbage collection.

7. Termination

You can delete your sites at any time through the API or dashboard. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. On termination, we will delete your stored files.

8. Liability

here.now is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or damages arising from your use of the service. You are responsible for maintaining backups of any content you publish.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of here.now after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the date at the top of this page when terms change.

10. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to here.now are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your jurisdiction.
