Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance

By using here.now you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What here.now does

here.now hosts Sites and Drives. Sites are static files you upload through the API or dashboard, served at a URL — publicly or behind access controls you configure (passwords, email allowlists, or workspace membership). Drives are private file storage for your account and accounts you explicitly share them with. We do not run your application code, databases, or compute on your behalf; Sites may define proxy routes that forward requests to third-party APIs using secrets you store with us.

3. Accounts and anonymous publishing

You can publish without an account. Anonymous sites are temporary and expire after 24 hours unless claimed. Accounts are created via magic link email verification or Google sign-in. An account can hold multiple named API keys, each individually revocable.

4. Workspaces

Signed-in users can create workspaces: shared accounts where members publish and view Sites together. Workspaces have two roles. Members can publish, manage their own Sites, and view member-visible Sites. Admins can additionally manage any workspace Site, members, invites, auto-join rules, workspace settings, and billing. Every workspace must keep at least one admin.

Admins can enable auto-join for their organization's email domain, which lets anyone who verifies an email address on that domain join the workspace. If you enable auto-join, you are responsible for that being the intended audience.

Workspace creation is subject to per-user limits, and workspaces are subject to published plan limits, which may evolve over time.

5. Your content

You own everything you publish. We do not claim any rights to your content. We store and serve your files solely to provide the hosting service.

Content published into a workspace belongs to the workspace. Workspace admins can manage, update, or delete it, and it remains with the workspace if the member who published it leaves. Members can duplicate member-visible workspace Sites within the workspace.

6. Prohibited content

You may not publish:

  • Illegal content under applicable law
  • Malware, phishing pages, or deceptive software
  • Spam or bulk-generated pages intended to manipulate search engines
  • Content that exploits or endangers minors
  • Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

7. Availability and limits

We aim to keep here.now available but do not guarantee uptime. We may impose or adjust rate limits, file size limits, and storage limits at any time. Anonymous sites are subject to automatic expiration and garbage collection.

8. Termination

You can delete your sites at any time through the API or dashboard. Workspace admins can delete workspace Sites and can delete the workspace itself, which permanently deletes all of its Sites. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. On termination, we will delete your stored files.

9. Liability

here.now is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or damages arising from your use of the service. You are responsible for maintaining backups of any content you publish.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of here.now after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the date at the top of this page when terms change.

11. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to here.now are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your jurisdiction.
